Teen Driver Education Package
Best for: Students ages 15–18 earning their first Utah driver’s license
$350
Includes:
- Behind-the-Wheel Instruction: 6 hours of one-on-one driving lessons
- Completion Certificate for parents records, not required for DLD submission
- Parent/Guardian Progress Updates
- Direction to approved Drivers Ed online courses
Your Student Will Learn How To
- Perform a complete pre-drive inspection: adjust mirrors, seats, and steering for safety
- Operate the vehicle smoothly through starting, stopping, and turning
- Use signals, mirrors, and shoulder checks consistently and correctly
- Navigate residential, city, and rural roads safely
- Recognize and respond to traffic signs, lights, and right-of-way situations
- Practice lane positioning, merging, and changing lanes with confidence
- Execute common road test maneuvers such as:
- Parallel parking
- Uphill and downhill parking
- Three-point turns and U-turns
- Straight backing
- Safely enter and exit freeways and or highways and maintain proper following distance
- Build awareness and courtesy around pedestrians, cyclists, and other vehicles
- Manage driving anxiety and make calm, informed decisions
- Prepare for the Utah DLD road test through guided practice and feedback
Every Student Receives
- One-on-one professional instruction in a DLD-approved vehicle
- Progress updates and final feedback from their instructor
- A completion certificate verifying 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training
Schedule Options
- Six (6) hours of one-on-one behind-the-wheel instruction
- Offered as either:
- 3 sessions of 2 hours each, or
- 4 sessions of 1.5 hours each
- Most students finish within 3-4 weeks, depending on instructor and student availability

Complete all drives within 10 days (based on instructor availability).
- Parent Coaching Session – $80
One-hour session to help parents feel confident supervising at-home driving practice.
- Road Test Prep Session – $30
A 30-minute simulated practice drive that mirrors the official DLD road test format.
- Private Driving Session - $80/hour; $220/ 3 hours; $375/ 5 hours
One-on-one private lesson for adults, licensed drivers, or nervous teens needing additional practice.
19+ Driving Lessons
Best for: Drivers age 19+ who want personalized instruction or need to prepare for the Utah driving test.

- One-on-one private driving sessions with a certified instructor
- Custom lesson plan based on your current experience
- Pickup and drop-off available within service area
- Use of school vehicle for lessons
Lesson Package
- Single 60-minute lesson: $80
- (3) 1-hour lessons package: $220
- (5) 1-hour lessons package: $375

Scheduling Details
- Lessons are offered Monday through Saturday, including select evening times
- Pickup and drop-off are provided at the designated locations specified upon sign up or pre-approved meeting points
- Students must have a valid Utah learner permit in hand at the time of each drive
Road Test Prep Course
Best for: Anyone almost ready for their Utah road test who wants a confidence boost or to refine their skills

- One 30-minute+ session focused on test routes, parallel parking, and examiner expectations
- Professional feedback and readiness checklist

- 90-minute lesson package: $80

Scheduling Details
Students who complete a Road Test Prep Session through Utah Peaks Driving School are not eligible to take their official road test with Utah Peaks. In accordance with state regulations, we are happy to provide recommendations for approved third-party testing providers in the surrounding area and assist students in identifying the best option for scheduling their road test.
Utah Road Test
Best for: Anyone ready for their Utah road test. (excludes current or past Utah Peaks Driving School students)

- One-on-one private driving sessions with a certified instructor
- Custom lesson plan based on your current experience
- Pickup and drop-off available within service area
- Use of school vehicle for lessons

3 - 1 hour lesson package: $220
5 - 1 hour lesson package: $375

Payment and Policies
- Payment due at registration (online or in-person).
- We accept all major cards through website or Tap to Pay in person.
- We do NOT accept cash, check, or venmo/cashapp.
- Missed lessons of any kind require 24-hour notice to avoid rescheduling fees.
- Refunds available up to 7 days before your first class.
- Incomplete Paperwork Fee is charged if required forms or packets are not completed by the final drive.
Fees
- Late Cancellation / No-Show – $50
Canceling within 24 hours of a scheduled drive or failure to attend. Fee due prior to rescheduling.
- Failure to Bring Learner Permit – $50
Arriving without a valid learner permit is treated as a late/cancellation. Permit must be present at every lesson.
- Course Reactivation Fee – $100
Applies if the student does not complete the course within one (1) year of payment date. Required to resume scheduling.
FAQs
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that schedules can change. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Missed appointments, no-shows, or cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be subject to the rescheduling fee outlined in your enrollment contract. If you cancel your enrollment at least 7 days before your first scheduled lesson, you will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of the first lesson will receive a refund less a $50 administrative fee.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. We understand that plans can change. If you cancel your enrollment at least 7 days before your first scheduled lesson, you will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of the first lesson will receive a refund minus a $50 administrative fee. After instruction has begun, any refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may be prorated based on the services already provided.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as supported digital payment methods such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, through our secure online payment system powered by Square. Payment is due at the time of enrollment to reserve your student's lesson schedule.
How long do I have to finish my lessons after paying?
Students have one year from the date of payment to complete their behind-the-wheel instruction. After that time, a $100 reactivation fee applies to resume scheduling and instruction.
